Zinan Lin is a PhD Candidate at the Center for Life Cycle Engineering, Department of Green Technology, at the University of Southern Denmark. As part of the EU-funded QuiVal project, his research focuses on analyzing building material characteristics and distributions to support circular economy strategies such as recycling and component reuse. He integrates methods from material stock analysis, GIS, civil engineering, and socio-economic data. Zinan holds an MPhil in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he specialized in building-integrated photovoltaics
