Dr. Wu Chen is an associate professor at the Center for Life Cycle Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark. Her research focus on material flow analysis and the circular economy. She aims to decode material-energy-emission nexus in green transitions in construction, transportation, and agriculture systems. In recent years, her research about sustainable transition and resource management has been published in high-profile journals such as One Earth and Nature Communications. Her works have been covered by domestic and international media. She was selected for the Young Scientist Summer Program at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) for exchange and learning. She was also elected as a researcher at the global climate fighter non-profit organization Project Drawdown and has received the European Young University Exchange Award and the Nordic Energy Challenge Award.
