Kun Sun is a Postdoc at SDU Life Cycle Engineering Center, Department of Green Technology, University of Southern Denmark. His research has been focused on renewable energy adoption, urban sustainability, and the circular economy since my master’s. His work combines remote sensing, text mining, and socioeconomic analysis to systematically evaluate the barriers and facilitators of clean energy transitions, with particular attention to the socio-cultural and geographic factors. He has published extensively on these topics, with two papers ranked highly cited in Environmental Science and Sustainability. He has authored 20 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, including Environmental Science & Technology, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Energy, and Renewable Energy.
